About Me

Writer. Educator. Thinker. Dabbler in All-the-Things. Sharing info is my love language. I say what I mean.

I'm Kristina-Brooke Daniele, and for years I tried to suppress my nature because the message I'd received since childhood was that being a Jane of All Trades is a waste of my talents. My mom, teachers, and professors all encouraged me to pick a lane and stay in it. I tried. For years. But that's not who I am, and pretending almost killed me.

A combination of Autistic Burnout, cPTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and living in a world that would rather see me dead, landed me highly medicated and extremely bothered by life. With the help of an empathetic and compassionate therapist, EMDR, and the love of my family and friends, I am still here.

Embracing my true self—my mercurial nature—has been a lifesaver.

I'm a writer, educator, and unapologetic dabbler who believes curiosity is a superpower. With a master's degree in teaching and over 15 years of experience making complex ideas accessible, I've taught everyone from high school students to corporate teams. My bestselling book "Civil Rights Then & Now" proves I can turn heavy topics into engaging narratives that actually stick. I've moderated conversations with literary heavyweights like Roxane Gay, led DEI initiatives, and never met a subject I couldn't find interesting.

I am a lover of learning and having experiences that challenge me and expand my worldview. Writing, web design, education, theater, books and reading, playing music, singing, crocheting, knitting, researching, cooking, gaming—I've dabbled in it all. I'm neurodivergent, a former NYC Teaching Fellow, and someone who dives headfirst into whatever fascinating rabbit hole has captured my attention.

This publication is where I embrace who I am. Sometimes I'll ramble. Other times, I'll rant. Mostly, I'm just sharing a piece of myself without the mask. I write like I talk: directly, with purpose even if it’s just to release, and always with the goal of sharing something useful—because sharing information isn't just what I do, it's who I am.

I am Kristina-Brooke, and on a good day, I write.

Supporting creatives is a must in a world that fails to honor the arts. I am a AuDHD writer who is, for the first time ever, attempting to earn a living writing fulltime. But since I am not independently wealthy, support from you is how I am able to keep writing-well, your support and that of my husband who has always been my biggest fan.

That’s what I get, but what do you get?

  • Full access to all my writing.
  • Access to the My Mercurial Nature Discord Server where we’re building community not just creating a group.
  • Join my Write With Me and Co-Working Sessions with me on Discord.
  • Quarterly Digital Products (zines, digital paper, etc) because I like to create things.
  • Read excerpts from WIP and give feedback/suggestions as I work to complete three novels, 2 stage plays, and a new poetry collection.
